One VB262 module is capable of demodulating a multiplex for ETSI TR 101 290 fault detection and alarm generation in the full frequency band (44 – 855 MHz). In sweep mode, the VB262 module is capable of measuring analog signal levels, offering a basic frequency analyzer function at the deployment location.

The VideoBRIDGE v4.5 software release introduces new fault-tracking capabilities and increased alarm filtering capabilities in the VBC. The VideoBRIDGE software now increases the outstanding clarity of data presentation for easy monitoring of large volumes of data in multichannel installations with more graphical representations of events in time.
- Ultra-fast searching using a comprehensive range of criteria, to provide instant focus on any subset of data.
- Enhanced large thumbnail view for instant visual feedback of service output in monitoring overview displays.
- Graphical alarm view for instant, easy-to-monitor overview of alarms from large numbers of channels in ETR 290 view, with color-coded severity indication and instant linking into detailed data display for fault analysis and tracking. Up to 120 channels can be viewed per screen with thumbnails and up to 300 can be viewed in stream view.
- Alarm scheduling in the VBC, which provides the ability to "wash" alarm events where channel-sharing and switching of content provoke alarms. This is implemented with an easy-to-use and easy-to-manage GUI.
